Foreclosure is a legal process where a lender attempts to recover the balance of a loan from a borrower who has stopped making payments to the lender, which by forcing the sale of the asset used as the collateral for the loan. Sometimes the borrower falls on hard times and just needs quick boost to get that back up and running.
